CCTV Recording Solutions - Digital Video Recording (DVR)

Advanced Control Corporation is the industry leading solution to your building automation technology needs. Today’s business relies heavily on technology and advancement, for this reason, Advanced Control Corporation works diligently to create and implement building automation systems that make lives easier, and increase functionality and profits.

Our Digital Video Recording (DVR) technology is always up-to-date. A Digital Video Recorder, or personal video recorder, has the capacity to record video feed in digital format onto a disk drive or other memory medium located within a given device. This includes stand-alone set-top boxes, software for personal computers that enable video capture and playback from a disk and portable media players.

Digital Video Recording has become the centrally adopted method for CCTV companies to record digital surveillance, as it is the most advanced and reliable method. Digital Video Recording provides extended recording time and more capabilities than its ancestor, the VCR. The digital recordings are clearer and easier to freeze-frame than the VCR as well. Digital Video Recorders configured to provide security applications record video signals from closed circuit television (CCTV) cameras for superior detection and documentation purposes.

Digital Video Recorders are feature rich devices designed to provide advanced functions including video searches by time, event, date, and camera location. DVR’s provide control over frame rate, quality and overwriting capacity. The oldest security footage is overwritten first, in the event the disk becomes full. For surveillance and security system purposes, a DVR remote access to security footage can be accessed through a PC by connecting the DVR to a LAN network or internet.
