Matthew Jones

President and Co-Founder


Matthew Jones has been president and co-founder of Advanced Control since 1990, the year the company started.  The company began following the acquisition of Applied Conservation Services in 1990.  Matt graduated from Regis University in Denver, Colorado in 1988 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration.  During his summer breaks from college, Matt worked in the building automation industry in New England, where he began his career gaining knowledge and experience of the trade.

As the youngest person to complete the Andover/TAC Programming School, Matt defines ambition in his field.  Prior to founding Advanced Control Corporation, Matt worked at Westover Controls Corporation in Denver, Colorado in the sales and sales management divisions.  Matt now has 28 years of experience in the building automation industry.  His knowledge encompasses every aspect of the building automation industry, including administration, finance, acquisitions, manufacturing, engineering sales, marketing, installation and service. 

As a married father of three, Matt is thoroughly devoted to both career and family.  In his free time, he enjoys coaching youth sports, fishing, boating, and traveling with his family.  Matt is available for any Building Automation System question or concern you may have, you may call or email him directly.
