BOSTON – December 3, 2009 - TAC, a leading provider of building automation and security solutions and authorized system integration alliance group of which Advanced Control Corporation is a member, changed its name and logo to Schneider Electric in October 2009. Schneider Electric, a global specialist in energy management, has been the parent company of TAC since 2003. Under a single brand, Schneider Electric offers customers a full range of energy management solutions that help customers make the most of their energy and achieve more while using less of the common planet.

TAC will be a foundational cornerstone within Schneider Electric focusing on energy management and security for buildings. The migration to one company under Schneider Electric will offer customers increased access to a wider range of integrated solutions.
