Sales Design Engineer – Building Control, Access Control & CCTV Systems

Advanced Control Corporation is seeking experienced sales design engineer. The right individual will be a self motivated professional capable of hitting the ground running.

The Sales Design Engineer will be responsible for assisting the Mechanical Engineer in designing a cost effective control system solution that meets or exceeds the intent, specifications and requirements of the Mechanical Engineer on the building control, security automation and CCTV aspect of the project. The Sales Design Engineer will provide detailed Drawings and follow on documentation to the customer, engineer, subcontractors and company systems/installation group.

• Associate’s degree in Electronics or Mechanical Engineering or technical field or equivalent experience.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Knowledgeable in DDC control applications pertaining to the HVAC industry.
• Experience with the Andover Controls product line preferred.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word and AutoCAD or Visio required.
• Experience with MS Project, and Timberline is a Plus
• Self motivated with strong communication and presentation skills.

• Calling on the Mechanical Engineers in the South Florida Market to assist them in designing the building control, security automation and CCTV aspect of the projects and getting the Advanced Control T.A.C. System laid out as basis of design.
• Designing the most effective control system that meets or exceeds the plans, specifications and sales documents for building control, security automation and CCTV projects which will enable ACC to gain advantage in the bid process.
• Assisting in Preliminary Project documentation including scope, drawings, owners requirements and specifications for our sales team.
• Sales feedback based upon engineering estimates
• Project sales support with the Mechanical Engineers
