Sales Engineer – Building Control, Access Control & CCTV Systems

Advanced Control Corporation is seeking experienced sales individuals. The qualified individuals must have a minimum of 3 years of experience selling building control systems, security systems, or CCTV systems. The right individual will be a self motivated professional capable of hitting the ground running.

 Description:

The Sales Engineer will be responsible for managing and growing a customer base and achieving growth projections in an assigned territory. Primary responsibility for this position is to acquire new commercial, industrial and institutional customers; develop relationships with engineers, developers, owners, contractors and maintain favorable relationships with existing customers. This position will develop and qualify new projects, make sales presentations, quote, bid and negotiate projects.


 Requirements:
  • Minimum of 3 years experience in sales of DDC/EMS/HVAC Controls, Card Access or CCTV Systems.
  • Knowledgeable in DDC control applications pertaining to the HVAC industry.
  • Experience with the Andover Controls product line preferred.
  • Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering is a plus.
  • Self motivated with strong communication and presentation skills.

 Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement a plan to take advantage of all sales opportunities within assigned geographic territory.
  • Provide technical solutions in business terms to all levels of the buying chain.
  • Develop and maintain an account development plan for the assigned territory.
  • Estimate and propose new construction projects, system add-ons and upgrades.
  • Works within a team to deliver total customer satisfaction.
  • Sales activity and forecast reporting.
