Service Technician – Building Control, Access Control & CCTV Systems

Advanced Control Corporation is seeking an experienced service technician. The right individual will be a self motivated professional capable of hitting the ground running.

 Description:

The Integrated Services Technician is responsible for the repair and/or replacement of HVAC equipment. The individual will be charged with delivering timely service response, ensuring the follow through of quality and cost effective retrofit projects by effectively managing his/ team time and resources. The individual is also responsible for managing, tracking, and maintaining simultaneous service events that occur on a day to day basis and to which he/she is assigned. The main objective of this individual is to effectively perform the above duties so as to increase service revenues profitably and to deliver top notch service to our customers.


 Requirements:

Participate in delivering quality service and repair for HVAC equipment. Developing rapport with customers and increasing the service revenue by providing services to existing customer base in a timely and professional manner. Requirements: min of 3-5 yrs. service exp. in the HVAC Mechanical/service industry; ability to interpret computerized control data and systems; knowledge of Microsoft Office, excellent written/verbal communication skills; and ability to make effective decisions by utilizing all pertinent information and exploring all viable options. Local Union Member preferred, but not required.


 Responsibilities:
  • Responsible for Customer Service and Repair work.
  • Implements all work order preparation and service billings by turning in proper work tickets.
  • Provide quality response to open work orders and manage your resources to close them out in a timely manner to insure prompt billing and customer satisfaction.
  • Provides the online technical support for our customers and controls service technicians.
  • Assist with Coordination with System Commissioning to insure quality turnover into Service Dept.
  • Operates in a team based environment by coordinating with sales and construction to understand and fulfill project requirements.
  • Backup to other Service Technicians, and Sales Staff for customer service.
